About

Ngara Bush & Life Learning offers sessions for neurodiverse people, their families, those with disabilities and mental health challenges. Our focus is the development of communication, life skills and cognition. Through movement and a stress free and joyful environment communication and learning becomes possible.

Our Concept

Ngara Bush & Life Learning works with the concept of Movement Method, Horse Boy Method and Athena. An evidence-based therapy and teaching model.

It was developed by Rupert Isaacson through the experience with his autistic son Rowan and in collaboration with Temple Grandin, psychologists, neuroscientists and adults on the spectrum.

The Science

Through movement, a natural, stress free environment and the use of intrinsic motivation we achieve a reduction of the stress hormone cortisol and the production of the communication hormone oxytocin.

Our Animals

Our animal act as companions for emotional support and facilitate relationship building. The horses also provide a special form of movement under the rider which leads to the maximum production of the happy and communication hormone oxytocin.
